14th February 2026 After 37 consecutive days of rain recorded by the Met Office, Taunton was treated to one day of glorious sunshine with a little warmth, giving respite from the constant downpours of recent weeks. Saturday 14th February provided one of the few remaining EWS liveried Class 66 locomotives No.66116 dropped onto the Saturdays Only China Clay empties. No.66116 is pictured passing Creech St Michael operating 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goonbarrow Junction with 17 JIA wagons in tow.
