Network Rail TCMU Class 153 Inspection Train No.153379 climbs the grade through Beam Bridge with the 2Q49 11:12 Bristol Kingsland Road to Bristol Kingsland Road via Paignton on Wednesday 29th July 2026. The previous day, the unit had worked a lengthy route from Reading Triangle Sidings to Bristol, reaching as far east as Reigate and Redhill in Surrey.

Colas Rail HST powercars No.43251 and No.43357 are pictured at Taunton Station at 03:42 in the morning on the 14th July 2026. The pair were operating a Network Rail Test Train as 3Q22 23:48 Bristol Kingsland Road - Canton Taff Vale Sidings, which visited Taunton twice during the night.

Inspection saloon No.975025 Caroline once again passed through the Taunton area on Monday, 1st June 2026. The inspection run was captured at speed at Whiteball with Loram liveried Class 37/4 No. 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach', which provided the motive power for the 5Z31 06:46 Derby RTC to Penzance, and was booked to return eastbound the following day.
