15th June 2020 Freightliner Class 66/5 No.66551 exits from Whiteball on the 15th of June 2020. The locomotive was sent light engine operating as 0C27 11:22 Whatley Quarry - Exeter Riverside in order to collect a rake of stored Mendip Rail wagons. The wagons had originally stabled in Exeter at the start of the Covid19 Pandemic. With aggregate traffic starting to pick up more wagons are being returned to quarries for loading. 5th February 2020 GWR powercars No.43187 and No.43122 worked a special 'back to back' move on Wednesday 5th February 2020. Forming 0E23 08:55 Laira - Doncaster Works the pair are pictured passing over the former Silk Mills road crossing, heading to Doncaster to collect the latest rake of converted sliding door HST coaches. 16th December 2019 Cross Country sent a pair of back to back HST Power Cars to Doncaster on Monday 16th December 2019 to collect the latest converted Mk3 coaching stock rake (Set XC02) from Wabtec. The set has been in works for the fitment of sliding doors to comply with the latest safety regulations. The unusual consist of No. 43321 and No.43378 pass Taunton whilst working 0E23 09:43 Laira - Doncaster Works, the image having been taken from the nearby Firepool housing development. No.43321 has also received a recent repair to impact damage to its coupling cover with the fitment of a new riveted black patch on the underskirt of the powercar. (Photo: S A Ginn)

10th September 2019 Colas Rail Freight Class 37 No.37219 approaches the outskirts of Taunton on Tuesday 10th September 2019 running as 0V37 09:47 Derby RTC to Fairwater Yard ligt engine move. The locomotive has been specially modified to facilitate the fixing of surveying and geometry measurement equipment as and when required.
