6th September 2025 Double headed Class 37s potter through Silk Mills on the reielf lines light engine on the 6th September 2025. No. 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach' and No.37240 had hauled Vinatage Trains 'The Mayflower' charter from Birmingham New Street to Bristol Temple Meads before handing over to Great Western and LMS steam locomotives. No. 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach' and No.37240 then shaddowed the tour south operating as 0Z45 09:37 Bristol Temple Meads - Plymouth light engine. 2nd September 2025 Colas Rail Freight Class 67 No. 67023 'Stella' made a rare light engine foary south to Devon on the 2nd September 2025. Looking rather bedaggled and in need a trip to the day spa 'Stella' passes through Platform 3 at Taunton operating as 0Z67 14:00 Westbury - Newton Abbot, later retruning light engine to Westbury route learning run. Waiting passengers clamber for a photograph of the resplendent Great Western steam locomotive which will haul them through to Kingswear. The pair pass Broomhay Crossing running 102 minutes early heading to Fairwater Yard to stable for the night before collecting two Network Rail Drift Ploughs to be moved away to Wolverton for storage.
