4th May 2022 Direct Rail Services operated, Regional Railways-liveried Class 37/4 No. 37425 'Sir Robert McAlpine/ Concrete Bob' is pictured stabled in Platform 6 (the second locomotive in a week to use the Platform) on the 4th May 2022. The locomotive arrived at Taunton having operated light engine as 0Z49 16:10 Crewe Gresty Bridge - Taunton. 4th January 2022 Veteran large-logo Class 37/4 No.37402 became the first Class 37 of 2022 to visit Taunton with an early hours visit to Taunton. Direct Rail Services owned No.37402 is pictured at Taunton on the 4th January 2022. The loco operated an overnight test train for Network Rail 3Q06 21:08 Westbury - Kingsland Road via Taunton.
