A visit to Taunton Station by David Hunt on the 28th February 2009 recorded a selection of passenger services operating for First Great Western and Cross Country making their booked passenger stops in the County town.

Snowfall in the Taunton area not a guarantee each year, however 2009 did present a covering of snow on the 7th February 2009, enough to turn the local scenes white but also keep the roads and rails open to allow enthusiasts to capture the event.
