31st July 1976

Published on 31st July 1976

With thanks to Chris Perkins we have been able to provide a look at workings which operated in the Taunton area on the 31st July 1976 to illustrating a fantastic selection of black and white images.

Thankfully at the time, Chris was able to identify the workings he captured on film and made good notes to ensure this information could be recorded with the images for future use. A good selection of workings and images were recorded from British Rail Western locomotives to Type 4 and Type 2 locomotives working regional express and stopping services passing through the Taunton area. Our Taunton Trains database contains records and images from this given day for your future viewing and enjoyment.
