1976: 25th August 1978 0-6-0 Bagnall No.2296 runs around its train at Blue Anchor, having arrived with a service from Minehead. Steve Martin from the WSR was also able to provided some additional information. The Driver was Arthur Young, and the fireman climbing onto the loco was ex-Shrewsbury Fireman Tony Price. The person on the crossing in the original WSR red nylon overall is believed to be TTI by the name of Ross Chamberlain. At this time, Victor must have had a coupling at each end, as for quite a while it had only one that had to be swapped over at each run round, a long walk if you forgot it. |

2026: Visiting 0-6-0T Bagnall No. 2996 'Victor' arrives at Blue Anchor on the 28th March 2026 during the WSR 50th Anniversary Weekend celebrations. The loco was operating the 11:38 Minehead - Williton service, where it would connect with a DMU service to recreate the early service trains when the line first opened to passengers. |

2026: Having arrived at Blue Anchor on the 28th March 2026, 0-6-0 Bagnall No. 2996 'Victor' runs around its train before returning to Minehead with the 10:35 service back to Minehead during the 50th Anniversary Celebrations. |
