4th July 2025 GWR Class 57/6 No. 57603 'Tintagel Castle' passes Norton Fitzwarren on Friday 4th July 2025 operating 3Z50 10:00 Penzance - Reading Traincare Depot. Following the failure of No. 57602 'Restormel Castle' the previous night and cancellation of the London bound Night Riviera service, No. 57603 'Tintagel Castle' was transferred to Cornwall on the back of the southbound service. The empty coaching stock move also ran into trouble with dragging brakes on the set (smoke visible in this image). The movement was stopped for attention before continuing to Reading.
