28th July 2024 Ex-LMS Black 5 Class 4-6-0 No.44871 visited Taunton on the 28th July 2024. The locomotive puts in an impressive display at Allerford powering away from Taunton with ‘The Royal Duchy’ charter on Sunday 28th July 2024. Running as 1Z33 08:48 Bristol Temple Meads to Par the tour was supported by West Coast Railways Class 47 No.47812 (attached at the rear of the train).
