20th July 2024 LMS Black 5 No.44871 passes through Washford Station between the showers on Saturday 20th July 2024. The loco was operating the Railway Touring Company charter 'The West Somerset Steam Express' 1Z25 07:42 Slough - Minehead. 20th July 2024 The Railway Touring Company operated 'The West Somerset Steam Express' charter on Saturday 20th July 2024. The tour followed closely behind the English Riviera Express bringing a second steam locomotive to Taunton for the day. LMS Black 5 No.44871 passes Norton Fitzwarren operating 1Z25 07:42 Slough - Minehead with West Coast No.47812 on the rear of the train.
