20th July 2024 Saphos Trains operated 'The English Riviera Express' charter on Saturday 20th July 2024. The 1Z60 05:29 Bedford - Kingswear charter arrived at Taunton with No. 47712 'Lady Diana Spencer' and No. 57311 'The Institution of Mechanical Engineers' operating in top and tail formation. At Taunton LNER A1 Pacific No. 60007 'The Spirit of Tom Kendell' was added to the front of the train, while No. 47712 'Lady Diana Spencer' was removed to stable at Taunton for the day.
