Having arrived late from the Bristol direction No.66952 ran around its train at Fairwater Yard (instead of continuing to Exeter Riverside Yard). 18th February 2024 Freightliner lost 153 minutes at Bristol Temple Meads on Sunday 18th February 2024 after No.66589 failed while working 6Y43 09:31 Bathampton Junction - Westbury engineers. The resulting delay (by removing the rear locomotive from the following 6Y42 engineers service) provided this combination at Creech St Michael. Running a mere 194 minutes behind schedule No.66952 hauls failed No.66589 south as 6Y43 09:31 Bathampton Junction - Westbury. The train was originally booked to run to Exeter Riverside to change direction but due to the late running was sent into Fairwater Yard to change direction and avoid the 60 mile round trip to Exeter to make up time.
