8th December 2023 Because of a landslide at Crewkerne on the South Western Railway route between Exeter St Davids and Salisbury the company had several trains trapped at Exeter unable to access their normal route. In a rare move on the 8th December 2023 the company took the rare step of operating two units via Taunton to access their depot in Salisbury. On the cusp of darkness No.159019 and No. 159004 'Basingtstoke and Deane' make the rare sight at Whiteball operating 5Z59 15:34 Exeter Central - Salisbury via Taunton.
