6th September 2023 Ex-LMS Royal Scot Class 4-6-0 No. 46100 'Royal Scot' makes easy work of the lower part of the climb to Whiteball Summit with the 1Z27 06:31 Worcester Shrub Hill to Taunton and Plymouth ‘Golden Hind’ charter on Wednesday 6th September 2023. This Saphos Trains tour was supported by LSL (Locomotive Services Ltd) in the form of Class 47 locomotives No. 47805 'Roger Hosking MA 1925-2013 ' and No. 47593 'Galloway Princess', the latter staying with the tour beyond Taunton just visible in this view trailing on the rear; No. 47805 'Roger Hosking MA 1925-2013 ' remaining at Taunton for the day to re-join the train on the return leg.
