20th August 2023 What initially appeared to be an unoccupied field suddenly produced a herd of cattle in what can be best described as in moderate stampede mode, flushed out from their shady resting places by the sound of ex-LMS 'Royal Scot' Class 4-6-0 No. 46115 'Scots Guardsman' roaring over the summit at Whiteball.
