21st April 2013 LMS Black 5 locomotives No.44871 and No. 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' returned north through Taunton on Sunday 21st April 2013, hauling 'The Great Britain VI' (Day 2) from Newquay to Cardiff Central. After taking their booked water stop at Tiverton Loop, the pair made a rare non stop pass through Taunton at speed.
