In preparation to take over the next leg of 'The Great Britain' round Britain steam charter two LMS Black 5 locomotives worked south from Bristol St Philips Marsh to Exeter during Saturday 20th April 2013. No. 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' and No.44871 are seen passing 40 Steps, Taunton after a short pause in the Station. The pair are pictured at 40 Steps operating 5Z45 10:03 St Philips Marsh - Exeter Riverside.

On Saturday 20th April 2013, Black 5s No. 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' and No.44871 storm up Wellington Bank en-route from Bristol working 5Z45 10:03 St Phillips Marsh to Exeter Riverside in preparation to head the second leg of Day 1 of 'The Great Britain VI' tour to Par. The 4-6-0 locomotives took over from Battle of Britain Class 34067 'Tangmere' on its arrival at Exeter St Davids, the latter routing via Salisbury, Honiton and Exeter Central from London Victoria.
