27th February 1997 Dutch Transrail-liveried Class 37 No.37230 assists failed Class 47 No.47847 past Silk Mills Crossing on the 27th February 1997. The Class 47 had failed while operating the 1V46 09:10 Liverpool Lime Street - Plymouth service. The train was cancelled at Taunton and towed south to Plymouth.
