20th June 2014 Network Rail 'New Measurement Train' operated a track testing diagram through the Taunton area on the 20th June 2014. The unique yellow HST was formed of No. 43062 'John Armitt' and No. 43014 'The Railway Observer', and is pictured passing Cogload Junction operating 1Q19 10:01 Plymouth - London Paddington track testing run.
