5th March 2005 Former GWR 4-6-0 No. 5051 'Drysllwyn Castle' rounds the curve at Cogload Junction on the 5th March 2005 operating Past Time Rail charter 'The Exmoor Express'. The charter had met with delay after a catalog of issues on the route. The tour departed late due to the non-appearance of a taxi to convey a driver from Old Oak Common to Wembley to collect the locomotive and stock. There were also problems switching between the air brakes and vacuum brakes at Didcot, and then poor quality coal clinked the firebox causing a further 20-minute delay.
