16th August 2020 The first train every Sunday to head north from Exeter St Davids has always brought some interest to the railway scene at Taunton. More recently this service has been handled by former three-car Thames Turbo Class 166 units for GWR. However recently following a reshuffle of stock allocations as we come out of the Covid19 lockdown this service has switched to GWR 'Castle' set HST. On Sunday 16th August 2020 No. 43155 'Rougemont Castle' leads No. 43041 'St Catherines Castle' north passing Fairwater Yard working 2U12 09:40 Exeter St Davids - Bristol Temple Meads stopping service, passing No.800302 departing south working 1C75 07:57 London Paddington - Plymouth.
