27th June 2020 Following a busy week working in the South Devon area of Totnes, the HOBC (High Output Ballast Cleaner) heads east on Saturday 27th June 2020. The train is pictured passing the overbridge at Oath on the Somerset Levels, Freightliner No.66596 leads No.66414 in top and tail formation. This mighty train complete with the latest addition of water tanks operated as 6Y11 16:53 Fairwater Yard to Tackley but departed Taunton 40 minutes late, however, because of the timings for pathing stops the train was running 15 minutes early by Herwood Road Junction.
