GBRf Class 47s made a very rare appearance in the South West late on Sunday 2nd June 2019. Both locomotives were formerly owned by Colas Rail Freight. No.47749 is painted in BR Blue with GBRf embellishments, while No. 47727 'Edinburgh Castle' carries Highland Sleeper livery. The pair of locos operated the 5Z47 14:47 Reading Traincare Depot - Laira with a barrier vehicle in tow ready to move set of redundant Mk3 coaches back to Long Marston the following day.
