9th June 2018 Pathfinder Tours operated 'The Peak District Explorer' charter from Taunton on Saturday 9th June 2018. The tour featured a Class 66 locomotive from DB Cargo from Taunton to the West Midlands (and also assisting with movements in the Peak District) and a Class 56 from Colas Rail Freight from the West Midlands. After the late arrival of stock from Eastleigh, the unique white roof Class 66 No.66177 is seen being coupled to the charter at Taunton ready to form the 1Z43 05:10 Taunton - Buxton. Because of Engineering work, the tour did not return to Taunton that night, instead, passengers were provided with road coach transfer from Bristol Parkway to Taunton by Chauffeurhire Coaches.
