DB Cargo Class 66/0 locomotive No.66124 is captured heading westbound over Whiteball on 30th August 2025. The consist of loco plus nine China Clay JIA Covered Bogie Hoppers form the 6V76 10:35 Westbury to Goonbarrow Junction Saturdays only returning empties from Cliffe Vale, Stoke.

A lucky passing shot at Creech St Michael on Saturday 23rd August 2025. DB Cargo Class 66 No.66054 rounds the curve operating the Saturdays Only 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goodbarrow Junction with China Clay empties in tow heading for loading in Cornwall. Going in the oposite direction a GWR service heads to London Paddington.

Still retaining its full EWS (English Welsh & Scottish) livery and branding Class 66/0 No.66063 heads away from Cogload Junction with a friendly wave from the driver continuing Saturdays only 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goonbarrow Junction China Clay empties on the 16th August 2025.

EWS Class 66/0 Mo.66063 was back onto the Saturdays only China Clay empties on the 16th August 2025. No.66063 is pictured passing Creech St Michael operating 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goonbarrow Junction. The service was originally shown as cancelled but still operated.

DB Cargo Class 66 No.66054 passes Allerford on the 9th August 2025. The loco was operating the Saturdays Only 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goonbarrow China Clay empties.

DB Cargo Class 66 No.66054 powers through the centre road at Taunton Station on Saturday 9th August 2025. The locomotive was hauling the Saturdays Only 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goonbarrow Junction with a rake of empty JIA China Clay wagons in tow, returning for loading in Cornwall. The train was later terminated short at St Blazey.

3rd August 2025
DB Cargo moved a Network Rail MPV Weedkiller set on Sunday 3rd August 2025. No.66177 hauled DR98956 DR98906 north through Taunton operating as 6Z15 08:57 Exeter Riverside - Wigan TMD. The Class 66 was once the unique test bed EWS liver lied locomotive painted with a white roof for a trial to see how the colour reduced in cab temperatures for drivers, the loco is now painted in DB Cargo livery.

2nd August 2025
DB Cargo / EWS Class 66 No.66063 rounds the curve at Creech St Michael with a healthy 18 wagon rake of empty China Clay wagons in tow on Saturay 2nd August 2025. The loco was operating the now regular Saturday flow of empty China Clay wagons as 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goonbarrow Junction, but later recessed in Exeter Riverside where the train terminated.

2nd August 2025
For the second week in a row EWS liveried Class 66/0 No.66063 was back in the Taunton area with the 6V76 10:35 Westbury to Goonbarrow Junction on 2nd August 2025. With a much healthier load than the previous week, 18 JIA empty china clay hoppers, the Saturdays only clay empties is captured on passing Allerford. Unusually the train entered Exeer Riverside Yard and was subsequently terminated well short of its usual destination.

One of the few Class 66 locomotives wearing it's original livery from factory passes through Taunton on the 26th July 2025. No.66063 was hauling the Saturdays Only 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goodbrarrow Junction returning China Clay empties for loading in Cornwall.

Three days after returning the Flying Scotsman to the Severn Valley Railway DB Cargo Class 66 No.66003 was back in the Taunton area. Captured passing abeam the small hamlet of Wick, the 66/0 runs westbound with the 6V76 10:35 Westbury to Goonbarrow Junction China Clay empties on Saturday 19th July 2025.

Passing the sun-bleached landscape at Cogload Junction, DB Cargo adds a splash of colour to the scene on Saturday 19th July 2025. As with previous weeks the return China Clay empties have been operating on a Saturday morning. DB cherry red Class 66 No.66003 (the same Class 66 which moved Flying Scotsman from the West Somerset Railway to the Severn Valley Railway during the week) is pictured operating 6V76 10:35 Westbury - Goodbarrow Junction china clay empties.

DB Cargo were contracted to move the Flying Scotsman to the Severn Valley Railway following the completion of the A3s recent historic visit to the West Somerset Railway. Class 66/0 No.66003 and LNER Class A3 4-6-2 No. 60103 'Flying Scotsman' complete with Mk1 support coach 99953 are captured passing the former site of Creech St Michael halt on Wednesday 16th July 2025. The diagram operating as 5Z81 10:00 Bishops Lydeard to Kidderminster running 34 minutes late.

Continuing the recent trend of revised daylight running but on the later of two alternative schedules, DB Cargo Class 66/0 No.66034 heads for Cornwall on Saturday 12th July 2025. The train of China Clay empties is pictured at Allerford running as the 6V75 10:35 Westbury to St Blazey.

DB Cargo Class 66/0 locomotive No.66019 clears the summit at Whiteball on Saturday 28th June 2025 working the 6V75 07:31 Westbury – St Blazey China Clay empties. Prior to an overnight stop and loco change at Westbury, the rake of empties had been worked down from Cliffe Vale to the Wiltshire yard running as the 6V73 during the previous day.

Under grey by humid skies DB Cargo Class 66 No.66019 heads south through Platform 3 at Taunton on Saturday 28th June 2025. The loco was operating 6V75 07:31 Westbury - St Blazey conveying empty China Clay JIA wagons for loading in Cornwall.

DB Cargo Class 66 No.66207 spent nearly four hours paused on the relief line at Taunton on the 5th June 2025 with a loaded aggregate train from Exeter Riverside Yard. No.66207 was operating 6C28 16:29 Exeter Riverside - Westbury arriving into Taunton around 12:45 running 270 minutes early. It was held for a right time departure at 17:19 to continue to Westbury.
