Europhoenix Class 37/4 No.37423 opens up at it passes Longlands Farm on Saturday 18th January 2024. The loco was returning from Norton Fitzwarren having turned both stock and locomotive before returning to Bishops Lydeard to stable.

Following completion of filming for a new Apple TV series at Bishops Lydeard, Easter Rail Services stock was shunted and turned on Saturday 18th January 2025. No.37423 is pictured arriving at Norton Fitzwarren from Bishops Lydeard.

Europhoenix Class 37/4 No.37423 returns to Bishops Lydeard on the 18th January 2025 having turned both locomotive and stock on the Norton Firzwarren triangle complex. The final manoeuvre was to run around the stock in preparation to depart the next day.

On the 7th January 2025, having been turned on the Norton Fitzwarren Triangle Class 37/4 No.37423 rides on the rear at Dene Road with DEPG Class 33 No.33048 leading back to Bishops Lydeard.

In order to turn the visiting locomotive and coaching stock for a filming contract at the West Somerset Railway the set was turned on the West Somerset Railway on the 7th January 2025. Resident Class 33 No.33048 helped turn the set on the Norton Fitzwarren triangle. With visiting Class 37/4 No.37423 catching the low Winter sunlight at Norton Junction on the rear of the train.

Europhoenix Class 37/4 No.37423 is pictured in Platform 2 at Taunton Station on he 6th January 2025. The loco operated 5Z02 11:35 Yarmouth - Bishops Lydeard with four Eastern Rail Services coaches which were to be used for a filming contact on the West Somerset Railway.

Class 37 No.37218 and No. 37407 'Blackpool Tower' pass Creech St Michael on the 8th June 2024. The pair had spent the night stabled at Taunton having arrived from Landore the previous day. The pair are pictured passing Creech St Michael operating 5M57 10:02 Taunton - Derby RTC.

Former DRS Class 37 No.37218 is pictured stabled at Taunton (with partner No. 37407 'Blackpool Tower' out of sight at the rear) on the 18th June 2024. The loco later departed Taunton operating 5M57 10:02 Taunton Station Yard - Derby RTC.

Top and Tail Class 37 locomotives visited Taunton on the 7th June 2024. Having delivered a Class 175 unit from Crewe to Landore TMD, former DRS locomotives No. 37407 'Blackpool Tower' and No.37218 operated in top and tail formation as 5V83 14:59 Landore TMD - Taunton Station Yard to stable for the night.

Rail Operations Group (ROG) Class 37 No. 37608 'Andromeda' returned north through Taunton on Wednesday 26th July 2023 operating as 5L46 09:55 Laira - Ely Papworth Sidings. The train was conveying former GWR HST set GW11 48133, 48132, 48131, 49111, (all Mk3's were de0branded). The coaching stock was being transported to Ely for storage.

Rail Operations Group (ROG) headed south to Laira on he 25th July 2023 conveying two barrier vehicles (6344 and 6348). The 5V84 07:35 Derby - Laira service was operating to collect off lease HST stock to be taken for secure storage. No. 37608 'Andromeda' is pictured passing Fordgate.

Having delivered the latest converted Mk3 stock to the GWR Laira depot, Rail Operations Group Class 37 No.37884 returns through Creech St Michael on Friday 24th April 2020 operating as 5M59 11:37 Laira - Leicester Depot. The train ran some two hours ahead of schedule and conveyed barriers 6330 and 6338 back to its Leicester operations base.

Rail Operations Group (ROG) transported another set of converted Mk3 coaching stock with sliding doors back to GWR on Thursday 23rds April 2020. No.37884 was supplied to operate 5V84 11:33 Doncaster works - Laira with newly converted trailers 49113 48123 48134 48133 49111 sandwiched between barriers 6330 and 6338 passing Banklands on the approach to Cogload Junction.

Europhoenix Class 37/6 No.37611(formerly operated by Direct Rail Services) passed Taunton on the 30th August 2018. The Locomotive was conveying two barrier vehicles west. The locomotives is pictured passing Silk Miles operating 5V84 05:59 Castle Donnington - Laira.

2nd August 2018
Rail Operations Group provided an old stalwart to haul two GWR HST powercars back from overhaul at Doncaster Wabtec on the 2nd August 2018. The 0V84 10:00 Doncaster Works - Laira is pictured passing Banklands with Europhoenix Class 37/7 No. 37800 'Cassiopia' leads powercars No. 43170 'Chepstow Castle' and No. 43189 'Launceston Castle'. The Class 37 is another locomotive which has escaped the executioner's torch having spent time in both France and Spain helping built various high-speed TGV routes, its repatriation to the UK has now seen a new lease of life hauling stock movements around the UK with UK Rail Operations (ROG).

Former DRS Class 37/6 No.37611 is now owned and operated by Europhoenix. The locomotive is often hired by other train operating companies. On the night of the 23rd August 2017 the locomotive was in use with Colas Rail Freight working a Network Rail Test Train. No.37611 is pictured in Platform 4, Taunton at 04:00 in the morning, while working the 3Z22 23:26 (Thurs) Bristol High Level to Cardiff Canton via Exeter St Davids.
