Locomotive Services Ltd Class 37 No. 37667 'Flopsie' pilots LNER A4 Pacific No. 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' north through Colgoad Junction on Sunday 6th September 2026. The LSL locomotive was returning the A4 as 5Z07 12:00 Bishops Lydeard - Crewe following the completion of the Saphos Trains English Riviera Express season.

Locomotive Services Ltd Class 37 No. 37667 'Flopsie' applies the power through Cogload Junction on Sunday 6th September 2026. The Class 37 was providing a tow for LNER A4 Pacific No. 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' having completed its work on the English Riviera Express charter services. The Class 37 operated as 5Z07 12:00 Bishops Lydeard - Crewe with the steam locomotive in light steam, with its support coach.

The Railway Touring Company provided the second pair of Class 37 locomotives to pass through Creech St Michael within 40 minutes of one another on Saturday, 27th June 2026. No.37669 and No.37668 from West Coast Railways operated 'The Mazey Day Cornishman' charter as 1Z36 06:31 Dorridge - Penzance. Concluding its second trip to the Taunton area, LORAM Class 37 No. 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach' and Inspection Saloon 975025 ‘Caroline’ return north on Monday, 15th June 2026. Viewed from Banklands over-bridge, this popular pair of 1960's railway stock was running as the 5Z57 10:05 Fairwater Yard to Derby RTC.

Loram Class 37/4 No. 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach' leads into Somerset, exiting from Whiteball Tunnel (the tunnel mouth can no longer be seen due to vegetation growth) on the 12th June 2026. No. 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach' was operating with Inspection Saloon 'Caroline' as 2Z56 10:17 Exeter St Davids - Taunton via Plymouth and Bere Alston.

Inspection saloon 975025 ‘Caroline’ and Loram Class 37/4 No37418 returned to the Taunton area just days after their previous visit in early June. The colourful pair are captured on 12th June 2026 returning from South Devon running as the 2Z56 10:17 Exeter St Davids to Taunton via Plymouth and Bere Alston. Unusually, both loco and coach are expected to spend the weekend stabled at Taunton, scheduled to return north to Derby on Monday, 15th.
