West Somerset Railway - 2024 Spring Steam Gala

The West Somerset Railway 2024 Spring Steam Spectacular operated between Friday 3rd May and Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2024. The event featured visiting locomotives: LNER B1 4-6-0 No.61306, LNWR 0-6-2 'Coal Tank' 1054, GWR 66XX 0-6-2 tank No.6695, BR(W) 6959 No.6990, Hunslet 0-6-0 No.1873 'Jessie', and Home Fleet loco movies BR(W) Manor Class 4-6-0 No.7828, WSR Mogul 2-6-0 No.9351 and BR(W) 94XX Pannier Tank No.9466

6th May 2024 GWR 66XX 0-6-2 tank No.6695 and BR(W) Manor Class 4-6-0 No. 7828 'Odney Manor' double-head through Longlands Farm on the 6th May 2024 operating the 16:30 Norton Firzwarren - Minehead service, however only No. 7828 'Odney Manor' worked forward from Bishops Lydeard.
