Recently overhauled BR Hymek No.D7018 made a star appearance at the West Somerset Railway Diesel Gala on the 20th June 2019. After a heavy downpour the locomotive reflects its glistening paintwork ready haul its first passenger train in 24 years. The loco is pictured at Minehead ready to depart with the 10:59 to Bishops Lydeard.

BR Blue Class 25 No.28185 arrives into Bishops Lydeard on Thursday 20th June 2019 hauling the 09:05 Minehead - Bishops Lydeard service, during the 2019 WSR Diesel Gala weekend. The loco which has spent its entire preserved life at the Paignton and Dartmouth Railway has recently switched hands and is now in the car of the South Devon Diesel Traction and has been very much in demand on the 2019 Diesel Gala circuit.
