Freightliner Class 66/6 No.66614 is pictured using the Fairwater Yard head shunt to form up wagons ready for that evening’s departure for overnight engineering.
The loco was captured at 40 Steps on the 8th September 2011.
Freightliner Class 66/6 No.66620 passes 40 Steps, Taunton on the 8th September 2013. The loco was returning to Taunton operating the 6C73 12:17 Westbury – Fairwater Yard loaded HOBC ballast portion.

Steam locomotive 'Tangmere' left the West Somerset Railway on the 8th September 2011, West Coast Railways Class 33 No. 33207 'Jim Martin' is pictured at 40 Steps on the 8th September 2011.
The loco was hauling steam locomotive No. 34067 'Tangmere' and support coach 35518 as 5Z72 14:18 Bishops Lydeard to Carnforth returning the loco to its operational base.
