Retro-repaint Virgin Trains Class 47 No.47847 is pictured at Taunton on the 16th November 2001 paused in Platform 5 while operating 1M40 11:50 Plymouth - Liverpool Lime Street Virgin Cross Country service.

The locomotive had been repainted (along with other classmates) into former British Rail liveries prior to their end of service on the Cross Country network.
