The 23rd June 1996 saw BR 4-6-0 'Manor' No. 7820 'Dinmore Manor' based on the West Somerset Railway haul its 'Shareholders Special' for shareholders in the locomotive and invited guests from the West Somerset Railway..

The loco had spent the previous week out of traffic being prepared for the big day, with a large amount of cleaning, polishing and touching up to make sure the locomotive looked its best for the round trip from Bishops Lydeard.

During June 1996 we captured images of various steam locomotives on shed and operating on the West Somerset Railway.

It was a busy time for the railway with a good fleet of five steam locomotives servicable and in traffice. We have recorded scenes on shed and daily operations along the line.
