The final operation of the famous 'Silver Bullets' hauled by Class 37 locomotives occurred on Saturday, 22nd July 1995.

No.37669 and No.37670 operated 6M68 09:40 Burngullow - Alexandra Dock Junction loaded china clay slurry tanks (for onward transit to Irvine), ending the use of the Class on the flow. The pair carried an appropriate headboard to mark the event, pictured here passing 40 Steps, Taunton.
