The 1980s were very much a corporate era for British Railways.
It was also very much the era of locomotive-hauled trains as the Intercity 125 had only just been introduced and had yet to make their full impact on some of the loco-hauled services. This small set of images records a set of images taken during the ten year period recording as many different and interesting images which we have carefully edited and restored for your viewing pleasure.
