BR Large Logo Class 50 No. 50009 'Conqueror' pulls away from Taunton on the 27th July 1986 operating the 11:23 London Paddington - Plymouth service.

Noting the large amount of Bristol VR double deckers in the down side station forecourt. Possibly pointing to engineering work between Taunton and Bristol.

BR Large Logo Class 50 No. 50005 'Collingwood' passes 40 Steps on the 26th July 1986 operating the 11:20 Paignton - London Paddington service.

BR Blue Class 47 No.47612 passes 40 Steps on the approach to Taunton Station on the 26th July 1986.

The loco was operating the 11:15 Plymouth - Newcastle service which passes Taunton non-stop.
