We have recently been able to obtain a large selection of images taken by well known photographer John Vaughan.
John sold a large amount of his collection many years ago, and from time to time selected images appear for sale. We are happy to say we have saved a good selection of images to enter into the Taunton Trains image archive.
Images taken on the 9th July 1983 feature a selection of images taken at Taunton Station and Cogload Junction. The small selection of images give a taste of the loco-hauled traction of the time and an insight into some of the operations of the period.
