We take a look back April and May 1982 with images from the Paul Clarke collection.
Images have been scanned and cleaned to bring them up to the best display standard. All photos were captured between Silk Mills and Norton Fitzwarren. The British Rail livery was very much standard at this point in time, with many services in the hands of Class 45, 47 and 50 locomotives. The Intercity HST was also operating services between London Paddington and the west country.
