A brace of Class 31 locomotives are pictured stabled on Taunton Depot on the 4th October 1978.

No.31424 is pictured with classmates No.31243 and No.31259. A pair of these locomotives known as 'The Taunton Twins' could often be seen shunting in between Taunton East Yard and Fairwater Yard.
